The Almaj Valley in Caraş-Severin shelters true treasures made either by nature or by the hand of man, and thousands of tourists begin to discover them in turn. Among them is the Bigar Waterfall, famous after being named by a most spectacular US publication, and the Rudaria water mills.
The Bigar waterfall is located on the territory of the Bozovici commune in Caraş-Severin County, right on the edge of the 57B National Road. If you do not pay attention to the signs, tourists could miss this goal because the waterfall is hiding behind a sidewalk. Those who see it, however, remain impressed: it is nine feet high and is covered with green moss, over which the water sweeps.
